Meeting was chaired by Prof. Saeed Akhter, President PKI. Attended by Dr. Syed Nayer Mahmud, Vice President PKI, Dr. Muhammad Imran Jamil CEO PKI, Dr. Durre Shohab, Secretary PKI, BOG Members, Dr. Masooma Saeed, Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal and Dr. Munir A. Malik. Mr. Hafeez Pasha attended the meeting via Zoom. Prof. Saeed Akhter projected a presentation. He discussed PKI ongoing activities on humanitarian forefronts. He presented PKI’s last year activity record including PKI patient data, Flood relief work in Pakistan, Turkiye/Syria earthquake relief drive, and upcoming Ramadan fundraising activity plan. BOG members unanimously approved the previous BOG meeting minutes and acknowledged the work done by PKI for this noble cause.

Prof. Saeed Akhter, President Pakistan Kidney Institute (PKI) has signed a MOU with Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) for earthquake relief work in Türkiye & Syria. SAMS is actively involved in earthquake relief mission both in Türkiye & Syria.

Prof. Saeed Akhter, President PKI visited different earthquake stricken areas of Turkiye, as well as assessed ground situation to plan for PKI future relief mission in these areas.

Qarshi Indurstries donated 10 million rupees to PKI-Turkiye/Syria Earthquake relief drive. PKI thanked Qarshi industries for their generosity and pariticipation in this humantarian mission.

22/2/2023 Prof Saeed Akhter, President PKI, meets with the delegation of Sulaymaniyah Foundation, Istanbul who are actively working in earthquake affected areas in both Turkey and Syria. 22/2/2023 Prof Saeed Akhter visited the Istanbul office of Syrian Forum, an NGO actively involved in earthquake relief in Syria and met their president and CEO to explore the ave of mutual cooperation with PKI

22/2/2023 Prof. Saeed Akhter met with Ahmed Raza Muqadam, Supply Chain Incharge of SAMS (Syrian American Medical Society) in Istanbul, which is actively involved in earthquake relief mission on Syrian side of disaster and discussed the avenues of mutual cooperation. He will soon visit SAMS active camps to see how PKI can help the suffering humanity in Syria during this crisis

22/2/2023 Prof Saeed Akhter President PKI landed in Istanbul and was received by Prof Mian Waqar Badshah of Istanbul University to discuss the future plans of mutual cooperation in earthquake relief work in Türkiye and Syria

Alhamdolillah 675 Kg of medicines in about 22000 packs donated by Bio-Labs Pharmaceuticals by their CEO Mr Usman Shaukat, a long term diehard supporter of PKI, has been shipped to Türkiye after due legal formalities. PKI is grateful to Osman for his generous donation worth about 9 million. May Allah SWT accept it
