Task Force for Hepatitis Elimination in Pakistan, on a tour of the United States
Professor Saeed Akhter, President of the Pakistan Kidney Institute (PKI), Chairman of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) & Research Centre, and Member of the Prime Minister’s Task Force for Hepatitis Elimination in Pakistan, on a tour of the United States.
The primary objectives of this tour are to lead PKI’s fundraising efforts, raise awareness regarding the ongoing Hepatitis Elimination program in Pakistan, and introduce the new institution, the JMCRC (Jinnah Medical & Research Centre), which is set to be established over the next 3-4 years.This state-of-the-art, multi-specialty hospital will be a key healthcare facility aimed at advancing medical care and research in Pakistan.
Prof. Saeed Akhter's tour will include visits to various states across the U.S., where he will engage with key stakeholders and potential donors to support these initiatives.
