Assalam-o-Alaikum,
I, Prof. Saeed Akhter, on behalf of Pakistan Kidney Institute (PKI), extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continued trust and support. As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, a time of reflection, mercy, and multiplied rewards for every good deed, your generosity strengthens our mission to bring hope, healing, and dignity to patients in need.
With the rising cost of healthcare, countless families find themselves in a painful situation. They are not beggars, nor are they entirely destitute, yet they simply cannot afford life-saving surgeries and essential treatments. For many of them, illness is not temporary; it is a year-round battle for survival. Your Zakat and Sadaqah are not just donations but a lifeline.
We have treated more than 200,000 patients since our inception, including more than 1,500 patients last year alone, including complex surgeries. Our teaching program is now one of the best Urology residency programs in the city, with four residents having completed their training. Our residents have secured prizes at national-level research conferences. We also collaborated with Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan for flood relief and donated about 4 million rupees.
A contribution to Pakistan Kidney Institute is more than charity; it is an act of saving lives, restoring families, and earning immense reward in this blessed month. We humbly request you to remember PKI in your Ramadan giving. Whether through your obligatory Zakat or voluntary Sadaqah, every contribution becomes a source of healing and lasting impact.
May Allah (SWT) accept your fasting, prayers, and charitable deeds, multiply your rewards, and grant you and your family a Ramadan filled with blessings and barakah.
Kind regards,
Prof. Dr. Saeed Akhter
