Prof. Saeed Akhter, President Pakistan Kidney Institute (PKI) has signed a MOU with Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) for earthquake relief work in Türkiye & Syria. SAMS is actively involved in earthquake relief mission both in Türkiye & Syria.
Prof. Saeed Akhter, President PKI visited different earthquake stricken areas of Turkiye, as well as assessed ground situation to plan for PKI future relief mission in these areas.
Qarshi Indurstries donated 10 million rupees to PKI-Turkiye/Syria Earthquake relief drive. PKI thanked Qarshi industries for their generosity and pariticipation in this humantarian mission.
22/2/2023 Prof Saeed Akhter, President PKI, meets with the delegation of Sulaymaniyah Foundation, Istanbul who are actively working in earthquake affected areas in both Turkey and Syria. 22/2/2023 Prof. Saeed Akhter met with Ahmed Raza Muqadam, Supply Chain Incharge of SAMS (Syrian American Medical Society) in Istanbul, which is actively involved in earthquake relief mission on Syrian side of disaster and discussed the avenues of mutual cooperation. He will soon visit SAMS active camps to see how PKI can help the suffering humanity in Syria during this crisis

Alhamdolillah 675 Kg of medicines in about 22000 packs donated by Bio-Labs Pharmaceuticals by their CEO Mr Usman Shaukat, a long term diehard supporter of PKI, has been shipped to Türkiye after due legal formalities. 14-02-2023: Prof. Saeed Akhter, President PKI chaired a meeting with PKI BOG Members & Business Community at PAF Hospital Islamabad to sought suggestions and inputs to execute PKI Earthquake drive in Türkiye & Syria. Prof. Saeed Akhter briefed the BOG members and Business Community that PKI always for-fronted in past natural calamities in Pakistan & abroad. Once again PKI came forward to help Brethren Türkiye & Syria hit by a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake on February 6th 2023. Thousands are expected to have lost their lives, with countless more injured. Entire buildings collapsed and flattened, leaving hundreds of thousands displaced outside in the snow and cold. BOG members & Business Community endorsed the steps taken by PKI and showed their full support in this humantarian mission.
